Sunnyslope County Water District (SSCWD) is pleased to invite Contractors to participate in bidding for the "2025 Water Replacement Project" located in Hollister and within the SSCWD water supply boundary. We encourage you to review the project details and submit your most competitive bid.

Scope of work:

1. Replace approximately Two Thousand (2,000) 5/8”x3/4” positive displacement Badger residential water meters with DIEHL HYDRUS V2 Ultrasonic water meters and ITRON endpoint encoders/antennas provided by SSCWD.
2. Replace approximately Two Hundred (200) 1” positive displacement Badger residential water meters with DIEHL HYDRUS II Ultrasonic water meters and ITRON endpoint encoders/antennas provided by SSCWD.
3. Repair plumbing on the customer’s side of the meter should it be damaged during the installation of the new meter.
4. Replace the SSCWD curb stop using a freeze plug should it be damaged or found inoperable during the installation of the new meter.
5. Replace any damaged meter box or meter box lid with a new B-16.
6. Complete “Meter Replacement” transmittal package for each meter replaced and save it in a flash drive (or other electronic storage agreed by the District) with each folder named related house address, including:
   1.  Photograph of before and after meter replacement
   2.  Photograph of the meter box and the connected house
   3. Complete “Meter Replacement” form provided by the District
7. Provide a Monthly look ahead schedule, updated weekly, indicating anticipated working area for each coming period.
8. Notify the affected neighborhood using door hangers 5 working days prior to work commencing.

Opening Bid Date: April 16th, 2025, 2:00 pm

Project completion date: 8 Months after the Notice to Proceed has been issued.
